Remove emojis from text
Paste text and every emoji disappears, including the ✅ and 🚀 bullets chat assistants love. Words, punctuation and symbols such as © stay.
Emoji are removed as whole characters: a flag, a family or a skin-toned hand goes in one piece, and keycaps such as 1️⃣ go with their digit. Symbols that Unicode files under the same heading but that are not emoji in practice, © ® ™ and the like, are kept. The spacing left behind is tidied, so "✅ Done" becomes "Done". Only the emoji switch is on; turn on the others to clean markdown or dashes in the same pass.
How to remove emojis from text
- Paste the text. The number of emoji found appears in the report.
- Remove them. One click strips every emoji and copies the result.
- Check what changed. "Show what changed" marks every removal.

Questions people ask
Does it remove text emoticons such as :) or ;-)?
No. Those are ordinary punctuation. Turn on the punctuation switch to remove them along with all other punctuation, or use find and replace for just those.
Are © and ™ removed?
No. They count as pictographic symbols in Unicode but they are not emoji in practice, so they are kept.
