  1. Paste the text. Headlines, lists, code identifiers, anything.
  2. Pick a case. Upper, lower, title, sentence, capitalised words, alternating, inverse, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, dot.case or url-slug.
  3. Copy. The result replaces the text in the box and a click copies it.

Questions people ask

What is the difference between title case and capitalised words?

Capitalised words uppercases the first letter of every word. Title case follows headline style: small words such as a, of, and, the stay lowercase unless they start or end the title or follow a colon.

Does title case break acronyms?

No. In mixed text, words that are entirely uppercase, such as NASA or PDF, and words with capitals inside, such as iPhone or eBay, are left as they are. When the whole text is in capitals there is no way to tell an acronym from shouting, so every word is treated as an ordinary word and THE LORD OF THE RINGS becomes The Lord of the Rings.

What do camelCase and snake_case do?

They turn a phrase into a programming identifier: "user first name" becomes userFirstName, user_first_name, user-first-name or USER_FIRST_NAME depending on the style.

What is url-slug?

A web address version of the text: lowercase, accents removed, punctuation gone and words joined with hyphens, so "Crème Brûlée & Co!" becomes creme-brulee-co.
