Yes. All chat assistants write the same markdown and use the same special characters, and the citation switch also covers the [1] style references Perplexity and Copilot add.
Will it change my actual words?
No. Only symbols and special characters are touched. Em dashes become a comma or a hyphen, whichever you choose, and the words stay exactly as written. Variable names such as user_first_name and links keep their underscores.
How do I keep the bold and headings for Word?
